Unity Tutorial 05

This weeks unity Tutorial was pretty hefty. This week we made a short action game where the player runs and jumps over obstacles. The tutorials were easy enough to keep up with but were definitly time consuming. From the first 2 tutorials I definitely learnt more about Rigid body and spawning it helps that they've been covered in 2 tutorials now. With every tutorial he still covers the basics so its nice that he keeps going over things it makes the learning process earlier. In The Third tutorial we created another script that we were able to create a soundtrack for our game. The first tutorial was all about making the player Jump In our C sharp script we made our player jump up and down on the y axis. We also scripted the fence to spawn and move left.

The second tutorial was creating a script that made the background repeat itself this combined with the left moving and spawning fences  gives the player the feeling that they are quickly moving through their scene.

The final tutorial was poloshing up the game adding all the important touches like making the character run. Adding sound effects and they backing track this part of the tutorial was probably the quickest for me because it didn't have a whole lot to do with moving parts.

In conclusion this one was rough. It took quite a long time but I found spacing it out and taking breaks away from the screen regularly made it easier. One thing I will probably do next week is start the Tutorial earlier and space it out over the week.
